The Collie Artisanal is a 132 x 132 mm square ceramic tile in a soft pink gloss with a zellige look. Made in Spain, it brings the gentle colour shifts and handmade character of traditional zellige to walls that need a bit of warmth.

Where it suits

The gloss finish and pink tone make this a good fit for kitchen splashbacks, bathroom and powder room walls, laundries and feature walls. Its small square format keeps the pattern tight and even, and the zellige look means each tile reflects light a little differently across the wall.

Practical notes

This is a wall tile at 10 mm thick. A few points worth knowing before you lay it:

• Zellige-look tiles have subtle variation in tone and surface, so mix tiles from several boxes as you go for a natural spread.
• A grout colour close to the pink keeps the look soft; a contrast grout will sharpen the grid.
• The gloss surface wipes clean, which helps behind a cooktop or basin.
