Hatsu Long Brick Wheat is a 47.5 x 304 mm hand-glazed porcelain wall tile from Japan, finished in a warm red gloss. The slim brick shape suits indoor walls, bathroom walls and outdoor walls, so you can carry one look across several areas of the home.

Being hand glazed, each tile carries small differences in tone and surface across the batch. That variation is part of the character and reads as depth once the wall is laid, rather than a flat, printed finish. The gloss reflects light and helps a smaller room feel brighter.

Sizing and laying

The format is 12 mm thick, which gives a solid brick feel on the wall. The long shape works well in a running bond or stacked layout. Order a little extra to allow for cuts, and dry-lay a section first so you can spread the colour variation evenly. The slip rating is P2.
