The Hatsuborder Mahogany is a hand glazed Japanese mosaic in a warm mahogany gloss, made up of slim 23 x 153 mm porcelain finger tiles in the kit kat style. It suits indoor walls, bathroom walls and outdoor walls, so you can carry one look across a feature wall, a shower surround or a covered alfresco area.
What you're getting
Each tile is porcelain, 10 mm thick, supplied on 312 x 320 mm mesh-backed sheets that speed up laying over larger areas. Being hand glazed, the mahogany colour carries small tonal shifts from tile to tile, which is part of the character of a Japanese handcrafted range.
Laying notes
Because the sheets meet edge to edge, work out your grout joints before you start so the spacing stays even across the wall and from sheet to sheet. Mix tiles from a few boxes as you go to spread the natural colour variation evenly.
