Hatsuborder Oribe Green is a handcrafted kit kat mosaic from Japan, made up of slim 23 x 153 mm porcelain fingers in a glossy green glaze. It works on indoor walls, bathroom walls and outdoor walls, so you can carry one look from a splashback through to a shower or a courtyard feature wall.
What you get
The tiles come mounted on mesh sheets measuring 312 x 320 mm, which keeps the finger spacing consistent and makes laying quicker than setting each piece by hand. Each tile is 10 mm thick.
Colour and finish
Oribe is a deep green with the slight variation you expect from a hand-glazed range, so no two sheets read exactly the same. The gloss surface catches the light and lifts the colour.
A practical note
Because these are individual fingers on a mesh backing, a colour-matched grout across the many joints helps the green sit as one surface rather than a grid.
