Regia 97 Gold Ribbed 97 x 97 mm Japanese Tile

Regia 97 is a small square porcelain tile from Japan, 97 x 97 mm with a ribbed gold metallic finish. It works as a mosaic-look feature across walls and splashbacks where you want a warm, reflective surface.

What it is

Each tile measures 97 x 97 mm and is 7.5 mm thick. The porcelain body carries a gold colour with a metallic finish, and the ribbed face catches light differently as you move past it, so a plain wall reads with more texture than a flat gloss would give.

Where it suits

The mosaic look suits a kitchen splashback, a powder room wall or a defined feature panel in a bathroom or bar area.

Laying note

Metallic finishes show fingerprints and grout haze more than matt tiles, so wipe as you go and clear any residue before it dries. A grout colour close to the gold keeps the ribbed pattern reading as one surface.
